Wallaby already had his successful performance career up to the Prix St’ George in Germany. After the first upper ribbons in the US, Michael Shondel became a member of the young riders’ team for the Pan American young riders’ championships.

At the “PANAM” Games Wallaby and Michael performed so well and helped the USEF team winning the team gold medal and finished third, with the bronze medal in the individual rankings. During the following years they competed in the Intermediate I championships in California and placed third in the country.

Wallaby always was very competitive; with his winning attitude in ring he never caused problems for Michael. “Congratulation”
