after finishing is 100 days test with the highest scores for jumping, For Pleasure competed on the Olympic Games in Atlanta 1996 and Sydney 2000.
he is grand sire of For Pleasure and had a major breeding influence. He sired the 1964 Olympic gold medal winner Lutteur B and the 1966 World Champion Pomone B. His 2 sons Furioso II / Germany and his full brother Mexico / KWPN, carry on this absolutely valuable gene pool.
the dam sire of For Pleasure; he showed up to the big open jumper classes with Guido Klatte. Here shown with Mr. Heinrich Klatte, who discovered Grannus and always believed in his top quality of producing innumerable international Grand Prix jumpers.

He became one of the most successful Grand Prix stallions’ worldwide. After a successful career in the young jumper division he already won multiple Grand Prix classes at the age of seven and eight.

At the age of nine he got to the international Grand Prix rider Lars Nieberg and showed right off the bat during the Volvo World Cup finals where ended up second place. The same year, Lars and For Pleasure gained the “German Champion” title in a very fast jump off against Ratina Z, ridden by Ludger Beerbaum, and were nominated the same year for several Nations Cup competitions.

One year later Lars Nieberg and For Pleasure were qualified and were nominated for the Olympic Games Atlanta 1996. They came home with the team Gold Medal and a solid individual placing. For the following year they continued having great success all over the world.

For Pleasure then came to world class rider Markus Ehning, who also qualified for the Olympic Games in Sydney 2000 and also came home with the Team Gold Medal. Besides a tremendous success at international level, For Pleasure continued to jump at the highest level until he was retired at the age of 18 years old.

During his phenomenal international Grand Prix career, he also severed at stud and produced a high number of national and international Grand Prix jumpers.
