He is an “ultra modern“ type, with a wonderful conformation and looks like a “mirror image” of his sire Orlando. His attitude is wonderful; he likes to work, is very easy to ride and to train. He has impeccable movements and jumps with carefulness and makes the big jumps look easy for him. His first years of showing were very successful in the German young jumper classes and later in the open classes up to 1.45 meter.

His sire Orland, by Heartbreaker – Darco, was the shooting star at his younger age and fulfilled all the expectations once he had to step into the Grand Prix ring. With Dirk Demeersman in tack they won several international classes, there as the “Audi Cup Finals” at the 3* CSI at Nörten Hardenberg or the youngster class at the CHIO at Aachen.

From here he left to find his new home in the US at Double HH Farm and showed over several years successful at international level with Darragh Kerins / Ireland on board.

Okeechobee’s dam sire, the Irish bred thoroughbred stallion Irish Taxi xx is from a famous race horse line, the TB 8 line and traces all the way back to one of the thoroughbred foundation sire Beverly Turk xx# Irish Taxi x sired in Belgium very good ride abale horses for the jumper ring as also for the dressage arena# He produced outstanding beautiful sport horses with the nicest attitude and lots of talent# His daughters already produced approved stallions for the European breeding programs# 

Okeechobee’s third generation sire is the SF stallion Fleuri Du Manoir, a son of Ibrahim, who is legendary all over the world and is one of the most influential foundation stallions in France#  
Fleuri Du Manoir is the sire or grand sire of numerous international sport horses# His today’s by far most successful grandson is the BWP licensed stallion and international Grand Prix jumper Vigo d'Arsouilles# He shows successful at international level with Philippe Lejeune / Belgium on board#

Vigo d'Arsouilles already produced more than 6 licensed stallions and several jumpers on their way in the international jumper ring#

Okeechobee’s fourth generation sire is the SF stallion Printanier, born in 1959, by Genet D’Or and traces back to the foundation sires of the French jumper breeding program.
