Ballack is a product of a very well planed breeding program. He is a “sunshine boy” who we found for us at the Vechta / Oldenburg foal auction 2006.

Carefully raised, we had him as an early 3 year old in a short-term training and were happy about his quality and quick progress as being very compromise able in his rideablity. His constant technique across the jumps, with carefulness and scope, he left the impression to become a very athletic jumper for the coming up young jumper classes in Germany.

His sire Balou du Rouet is one of the super stars at the breeding stud farm of the legendary Paul Schockemöhle. Balou du Rouet is a super athletic model, equipped with all the needed ingredients for the international show jumper ring. From Balou’s first crop 18 offspring qualified for and competed successful at the German “Young Jumper Championships” in 2008.

Balou du Rouet was bred by an international “breeding concept”. His sire Baloubet Du Rouet, winner of three World Cup finals, ridden by Rodrigo Pessoa, followed by the dam sire Continue, a son of the famous Contender, makes this stallion very important for the international sport horses breeding. The background pedigree is lined up with the international influential Hanoverian genes of the fantastic D- and G- line.

Ballack’s dam Chinschilla, by Cor de la Bryere, was the winner of the mare performance testing. She received highest scores for her rideablity, the jumping capability, where she showed lots of scope and style. She is a decedent of the young Holstein dam line # 5870, which produced the approved stallions Cardiff, by Capitol I or Chartbreaker, by Come On.or Lacoretto, by L andfriese I, for the big jumper classes.

Cor de la Bryere, the dam sire of Ballack, is the legendary French bred stallion, who served more than 25 years at stud at the Holstein breeding association. He sired innumerable international and Olympic athletes all over the world. His son Corlandus was one of the most successful international and Olympic dressage horses, ridden by Magrit Otto-Crepin / France.

Cor de la Bryere is well-known all over the world to have passed on to his progeny his own super jumping technique, what makes life it in the jumping ring much easier.

Masetto, the sire in the third generation, is also the dam sire of the international Grand Prix and Olympic jumper Clinton. Masetto is sire and dam sire of more than 25 approved and successful breeding stallions and several international Grand Prix jumpers as Boris v/h Kluizebos, Little Lady, the approved Grand Prix stallion Concept and several others.

The sire in the fourth generation, the thoroughbred stallion Maestose xx, in connection with the important genes of the early days of the Holstein breeding program makes this youngster very talented for a successful career in the show ring.
